James Bond Cars Collection – You Only Live Twice (1967)

You Only Live Twice (1967) is the fifth James Bond film produced by Eon Productions, starring Sean Connery as MI6 agent James Bond. The screenplay by Roald Dahl was loosely based on Ian Fleming's novel. Bond is sent to Japan to investigate the mysterious disappearance of American and Soviet spacecraft, uncovering a plot by SPECTRE to provoke war between superpowers. This film marks the first appearance of Ernst Stavro Blofeld on-screen. Directed by Lewis Gilbert, the movie was a critical and commercial success, grossing over $111 million worldwide.

Gyrocopter Little Nellie

“Little Nellie” is the iconic gyrocopter used by Bond for aerial combat and reconnaissance. Equipped with machine guns and rockets in the film, it was a marvel of 007 gadgetry and remains one of the most famous James Bond vehicles of all time.

Toyota 2000GT

The Toyota 2000GT, driven by Bond’s ally Aki, is equipped with surveillance gadgets and showcased on the streets of Japan. Two custom convertible-style models were created for Sean Connery, retaining the car’s sleek fastback profile. This car is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful James Bond cars, and Daniel Craig later cited it as his favorite Bond car of all time.

Toyota Crown

The Toyota Crown is driven by Mr. Osato’s men during a chase scene with Bond and Aki. The vehicle is later picked up by a Japanese Intelligence helicopter and dropped into the sea using an electromagnet, demonstrating the inventive gadgetry and action sequences typical of the James Bond franchise.
