James Bond Cars Collection – For Your Eyes Only (1981)
For Your Eyes Only (1981) is the 12th James Bond film and the fifth starring Roger Moore as 007. Directed by John Glen in his directorial debut, the film combines elements from Ian Fleming's short stories "For Your Eyes Only" and "Risico". The plot follows Bond as he locates a missile command system while teaming up with Melina Havelock to avenge her parents' murder. The film marks a return to the grittier, more realistic style of early Bond films after the science-fiction focus of Moonraker. Filming locations included Greece, Italy, and England, with underwater scenes shot in The Bahamas.
The film was released on 24 June 1981 and generated $195.3 million worldwide. It was the last Bond film distributed solely by United Artists and received mixed critical reception, praised for its action sequences and realistic approach.
Citroën 2CV
The Citroën 2CV was used in a thrilling chase scene across the slopes and olive groves of Greece, with stunt driver Rémy Julienne behind the wheel. Four 2CVs were modified for stunts, including more powerful flat-four engines and a revolving roof plate for upside-down maneuvers. Bond and Melina drive the 2CV against Gonzales' men in Peugeot 504s.

Peugeot 504
Gonzales' men chase Bond and Melina using Peugeot 504s, contributing to one of the most famous European chase sequences in the James Bond series. These vehicles represent the practical yet stylish choice for antagonists in the film.
Lotus Esprit Turbo
Two Essex-spec Lotus Esprit Turbo cars were featured: a white one destroyed early in the film and a copper-red model appearing later. Winterized with ski racks for scenes in Cortina d'Ampezzo, the Esprit exemplifies 007’s combination of style, speed, and practicality in high-altitude missions.
Mercedes-Benz 450 SEL
Bond faces Emile Locque in a Mercedes-Benz 450 SEL “long case”, dangling on a cliff edge before being kicked down. The scene underscores the high-stakes tension and luxury espionage elements typical of the James Bond films.

GP Beach Buggy
The GP Beach Buggy appears in the sequence where Emile Locque and his henchmen chase Bond and Countess Lisl von Schlaf along a Greek beach, combining speed, chaos, and action in a sunny coastal environment.
